Premise
Most kettles give you one binary signal: boiling or not. Ren turns the last 30 seconds into an audible gradient so you can step away and still know.
Process
Tuned the resonant chamber through a dozen turned-aluminium spouts, measuring pitch against water temperature. Settled on a dual-reed spout that glides a major third as it approaches 100 °C.
Outcome
A 1.2 L kettle in spun aluminium and cork, with a spout that performs the boil.
