The brief

A practical, self-paced course that teaches Figma by doing — aimed at designers who learn faster building real files than watching demos. Each module pairs a short concept with an exercise and a way to check what stuck.

What I designed

  • Curriculum — modules sequenced from frames and auto-layout up to components and prototyping.
  • Interactive modules — concept + hands-on exercise per module, with multiple tracks so different audiences get the right emphasis.
  • Cheatsheets & reflection — a printable cheatsheet and active-recall prompts that turn watching into remembering.
  • Visual identity — the course’s layout system, type, and colour.

Process

Mapped the skill progression, wrote each module against a fixed spec (hook → concept → exercise → reflection), then built a template so modules stay consistent as the course grows.

Outcome

A live, interactive course. Visit the live course above.
